Regenerative Therapy

We identify the true cause of your pain.

When you have damage to muscles, tendons, nerves, ligaments and other types of tissues, you occasionally need more help to replace the damaged tissue with healthy tissue; this is where regenerative therapy comes in. We combine the latest research and technology to give your body exactly what it needs to regenerate the damaged or unhealthy tissue to get you out of pain and back to optimal health quickly.

At Acadiana Pain & Performance, our regenerative therapy program has been used to effectively treat and heal:
Back and Neck pain
Herniated Disc
Nerve Damage
Neuropathy
Sciatica
Knee and Hip Arthritis
Rotator Cuff Injuries and Tears
Meniscus Tears
TMJ (Jaw) pain and dysfunction
Hip and Knee pain
Shoulder and Elbow pain
Tendonitis and Bursitis
During your regenerative therapy program, you'll receive the most advanced, effective, and evidenced based treatments to aid the healing process.

Regenerative Pain Procedures:

  • Laser: Increases cell energy to aid in regeneration of damaged cells in muscle, tendon, nerves, and other structures
  • Dry Needling: To stimulate tissue regeneration at the exact injury site. When necessary, this is done under Ultrasound Guidance to ensure accuracy
  • Joint Manipulation: We practice a gentle form of joint manipulation that is very safe and effective for correcting the underlying position issues that may have contributed to the root cause of the injury
  • Joint Mobilization with movement: Gets joints moving and gliding the way they should so that as the tissue regenerates, it stays healthy
  • Vacuum Therapy: Treatment for blood flow, myofascial, scar tissue, and muscle remodeling
  • Active Release:  A form of manual treatment designed to release adhesions in painful muscles
  • Advanced pain modalities: Cryotherapy, Infrared Laser therapy, PEMF Blood Flow Stimulation, deep intramuscular stimulation, and neural sensation re-education all to keep the newly developed cells healthy and proliferating

Therapeutic Activities:

  •  Postural Re-education
  •  Muscular activity correction (decreases tight muscles, strengthens weak muscles)
  •  Therapeutic Exercise
  •  Home treatment training to control your pain
  •  Long term corrective and preventative exercise and training programs to keep nagging injuries at bay
