Neck Pain and Spasms? Before going to Acadiana Pain & Performance, I was having spasms from my neck to shoulder. I had shooting pain into my arm. Going to work and dealing with my staff and patients was very difficult. After starting therapy, the spasms gradually eased and the relief began to progressively improve after each session. The tightness started to relax and the shooting pains stopped. I started going twice weekly, then once weekly and now I am pain free. I still follow the exercises that I was taught to keep everything moving freely and pain free. Dr. Todd B.
Chronic Back Pain? After years of chronic neuro and musculoskeletal pain, I decided to see my family physician. She consulted me to Chris Davis. I had no idea who Chris was, however, upon reading his biography on the Acadiana Pain & Performance website, I was sure he could understand my situation given his own past history with back problems.
Our initial consultation was pleasant and he immediately diagnosed my problem, explained the treatment and gave me a prospective timeline. After 17 years of living with increasing back pain from herniated lumbar disks, I was skeptical of his confidence much less his timeline to alleviate my pain. Over the course of a few weeks, I began to see marked improvement and once we arrive to Chris’s original finish date, I was a believer. What had taken over a decade to manifest and create all of my pain was undone by Chris’s hands in two months. I have nothing but gratitude and admiration for Chris’s help – from both myself and my family. - Brandon G. Heart or Blood Flow Issues?I was diagnosed with AFIB. I had an ablation in August 2018 but it was not successful. I had a cardio version in September 2018 and it worked for a few weeks.
After being in AFIB for about 2 weeks, I asked Dr. Hines if the PEMF would help with my irregular heartbeat with a pulse that would range from 88 to 106. He advised me as to what the benefits of PEMF are and how it works. So, I requested to enrol in the Advanced Healing Program in conjunction with my therapy. The assistant checked my pulse before treatment and it was 94. Within 18 hours my pulse had dropped to 68 and I was no longer in AFIB. I have been in a regular heartbeat for the last 18 days and my heart varies from 54 to 64. - Charles B. Pain with golf?I’m an avid golfer and have struggled with tendonitis (golfers elbow) over the years. While the level of pain fluctuated it didn’t keep me from playing until recently. After resting my elbow and not playing golf at all for 3 months, someone suggested dry needling. I had not heard of it. Dr. Hines was recommended and I made an appointment. After six sessions (and doing prescribed exercises), I was back playing golf with only minor pain. After 10 sessions, I’m not only playing pain free, but I’m back playing tournaments requiring playing five-six days in a row. I highly recommend it to anyone who’s being held back by pain. Thank you! - Dennis S.
