When the cancer itself is causing pain, it can be from pressure the tumor is applying to structures in the body causing damage, blood restriction, and inflammation.
When you are undergoing treatment for cancer, there are a variety of issues and side effects from these treatments that may be less than pleasant. Everyone is different so the way treatment effects someone may not be how it effects someone else.
Some examples of this include:
Chemotherapy related: neuropathy, muscle spasms, bone and joint pain, or general nerve pain
Surgical related: scar tissue, muscle pain, inflammation, and sensitivity
